Hallo,
“When I have installed your modules to all of my 4 inner units that are connected
to the same
Multisplit external unit. Are your modules able to consider all 4 different
values and impact in a system approach or is this "just" unit by unit?”
The ClimateControl will only control one indoor unit.
If you have multiple units in the same room, you can link one thermometer to multiple climatecontrol units.“Is the adjustments you are doing only on the temperature level or are you going
even deeper into the system settings? You do not have to explain what you are doing
I would only like to understand how "scientific" your modules are improving the
behavior of the "bad" Panasonic control settings and the quite dump temperatur sensor."
ClimateControl actively manipulates the thermistor inside the unit. There are extra control algorithms and a calibration algorithm running inside the ClimateControl.
Due to this, users have reported the actual room temperature to get very close to the setpoint, often within 0.5 degree C or better. Which is impossible with a “stock” setup."Do I have to do the +2 offset on the 58 value as well on my Mulitsplit system, since I
was under the impression that this may only work on Singlesplit systems or at least
only has an "impact" there. “
Yes, you will need to set setting 58 and 59 on each indoor unit in your multisplit system.
This setting is an offset compensation that all indoor units have due to the positioning of the standard thermistor.Well, I didn´t ment more than one units in the same room, more if it may understands the overall system and is
reacting differently if only 2 or 3, or all units are on at the same time. But I guess I understand that every device
is controlled separatly and the it´s not affecting to outer unit based on the system consumption. Maybe it´s something
for the feature if it will make a difference.
The installation manuals on your website for Panasonic only refer to the adjustment of the 58 set point. Nothing
about 59. But if this is needed as well it should be mentioned as well.
Yes you are right.
The outdoor unit is purely responding to the input request/demand from the indoor unit, so indirectly we can control the outdoor unit. However, it is not coordinated(perhaps you could do this with Home Assistant). Since it is a multisplit, the response from the outdoor unit will be cumulative based on the demand from the indoor units.
Indeed we do need to update the docs, thanks for pointing this out!
Habt Ihr damit Erfahrungen?
Danke und Gruß
